Description
This fact table provides information pertaining to accounts receivable (AR) positions over time. Specifically, it contains fields that represent the net financial position of an account at a given snapshot date in the past two years, including both amounts owed to the organization (debits) and amounts owed to the customer (credits). The grain of this fact table is at the account + business + snapshot date level. The 30-day and weekly aging buckets represent a FIFO-based allocation of the net balance across periods, indicating how long portions of the receivable or credit have remained unapplied.
